having spent summers here near the family's ranch,
and the bride and groom's desire to share their
love of Big Sky with their friends, Montana

stroke of midnight, the bride's parents treated
the guests to the best New Year's fireworks show
in the entire Valley put on by a professional
pyrotechnics crew brought in just for the event. |

couple wanted a winter theme, and winter is what
they got! The weeks prior brought plenty of
snow and below zero temperatures, although on the
wedding day it had warmed up to the mid-twenties
(that's without the windchill, which I don't even
want to try to guess). |

was the unplanned detail that made the big splash
at this wedding. The apple orchard at
Springhill Pavilion is a very popular place with

wedding they decided to drop in and see what all

celebrating with a 50th Anniversary
Extravaganza.

| This was a fabulous wedding with plenty of personal
touches. Katalin Green Design hand-painted the
aisle runner with the couple's monogram and Dogwoods
(VA state flower), Bitterroot (MT state flower),
Indian Paintbrush (WY state flower) and Mistletoe, then heaped fresh rose petals the entire
length of the runner. |
