The
2005 Museum of the Rockies Winter Ball
Bozeman, MT February 12, 2005 |
| This gala evening is
an annual fundraiser for the Museum of the Rockies and
has become one of the most anticipated events thrown
by the Museum. Katalin Green Design carried out
the "Diamonds are Forever" theme through all
aspects of the room. She started with the
centerpiece 007 ice sculpture, complete with a luge
though which the martinis were poured and
chilled. She continued the theme into the main
dining area with the large lit martini glass
centerpieces and "ice cool" blue lights that
glowed from within the napkins giving the room a hip
and elegant feel that Bond himself would have
appreciated. Guest Auctioneer, Senator Conrad
Burns (pictured left with designer Katalin Green) was
among the many guest to participate in the design by
wearing the blue led lights into the evening.
The theme carried over to the auction which featured a
2 carat diamond donated by Alara Jewelry and a 1
carrot diamond donated by Luzenac. The Museum
events continually set the standard for Montana's Gala
events, and this one was no exception.. |
