The
2005 Museum of the Rockies Wine Classic
Winosaurs
& Dinosaurs
Bozeman,
MT, July 9, 2005 |
| This
popular event has developed a loyal and growing
following and a reputation as a premier wine event.
This year's theme, "Winosaurs & Dinosaurs"
set the challenge for Katalin Green Design; how to
turn the large tented area into "Jurassic
Park" while maintaining the elegance that the
guests have come to expect. Working
closely with the talented Museum of the Rockies
exhibits staff, and a team of hard-working volunteers,
Katalin and her staff took the task to hand and once
again, they were able put together an extraordinary
event. The tented area featured exotic plants
and flowers flown in the day before from the tropics
and lit subtly with self-contained light supplies on
the tables covered with linens in a variety of shades
of vibrant greens. The exhibits team converted
the custom ordered lengths of bamboo, palm fronds, and
banana leaves into 15 foot palm trees as well as hung
the life size replicas of pterodactyls from the
Museum's collection. Talented caters, fabulous
wine from around the globe, and the largest guest
count to date filled the room to complete this
fabulous sold-out event. Katalin Green Design
would like to thank the Museum staff and volunteers
that helped bring this vision to life. |
